Public Notice of Voting Precinct Changes The Forsyth County Board of Voter Registrations and Elections (BRE) proposes to change the boundaries of certain voting municipal and county precincts, as listed below. Discussion about the proposed changes will continue at the BRE's regular monthly meeting on August 5, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. at the Forsyth County Voter Registrations & Elections Office. Pursuant to O.C.G.A. SS21-2-262(d), the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners will vote whether to approve and adopt the proposal of the Forsyth County Board of Voter Registrations and Elections to change the boundaries of those voting precincts. The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners discussed the changes at its work session on July 8, 2025 with a final vote to adopt the precinct boundary line changes scheduled for their regular meeting on August 21, 2025. Any person objecting to any of these changes must file his or her objection prior to August 21, 2025 with Forsyth County Administration, 110 East Main Street, Suite 210, Cumming, GA 30040. Interested citizens are encouraged and invited to view the maps at the office. The available maps illustrate the current precinct configurations as well as the proposed modified precinct configurations and polling places. Notice of Precinct Boundary Modifications for the City of Cumming municipal voting precinct, the 07-Cumming and 16-Otwell Precincts: The Forsyth County Board of Voter Registrations and Elections does hereby provide notice, as required in O.C.G.A. SS21-2-262 (a) and SS21-2-262 (c), of a change of precinct boundaries to account for property annexed by the City of Cumming. The proposed precinct line changes involve the City of Cumming municipal voting precinct, and the 07-Cumming and 16-Otwell county precincts. The proposed boundary modification to the City of Cumming municipal voting precinct line will incorporate parcels C37 003, C151 213, C21 061, C22 023, C36 005, C196 394, C196 482, C196 498, and C196 561. Additionally, the proposed boundary modification will re-align the 07-Cumming county precinct boundary to be the same as that of the City of Cumming surrounding parcels C151 213 and C21 061 reassigning these two parcels from the 16-Otwell county precinct to the 07-Cumming county precinct. No other changes to the 07-Cumming or 16-Otwell county precinct lines are proposed. No registered voters are currently impacted by these precinct line changes. The Election Day polling place for the 07-Cumming precinct and the City of Cumming municipal precinct for the November 4, 2025 Municipal General Election and Special Elections remains the Cumming Recreation & Parks Department Event Center located at 437 Pilgrim Mill Road, Cumming, 30040.
